S. Nags Head today
Took a ride down to S. Nags Head to see what punishment the beach was taking in this nor'easter. The yellow house at the end of Seagull St is still hanging in there, although some more of its supporting dune has been washed away. Seagull street is again awash with a bit more encroachment westward. The area which was once the roadbed of Surfside Drive was completely awash. The last I read on that particular street was that the town was seeking to have the property owners which once used the street as their access, to now find a way to collect an easement from the rear of the property for access. We'll see how that works out.

Our house is on the corner of Limulus and Surfside. Thanks for the pictures. Can't wait to get down there in a couple weeks to see how much sand needs shoveled out from under the house!!
