New Hilton construction
Yesterday as I was sitting in traffic waiting for a person to turn left on the Southern Shores road, I noticed this loud rhymic booming. I ran the window down to see what it was, and discovered the new piling driving project at the Hilton Hotel site at the Kitty Hawk pier. Boy is it loud! Here's a couple of pix. Pity those who are renters near this construction site for the next couple of summers, especially right now!

So sad, not happy at all about this. This ruins the shore line, makes it look like all the ones we escape from. How did it get accepted for 60' instead of 40'? Who got paid off? Please stop the any other Hotels from coming in. Sometimes no change is good. What you came to see is gone!!
