"Tropical Storm" today!

It is not unlike a tropical storm out there today, except it's a little cooler! The winds are whipping around 40 mph and the rain is heavy. Weather channel says Hatteras has gotten over 4 inches so far. I know it rained pretty hard all night. Looking at the radar this thing even has an eye to it, right off Cape Fear. You can actually see it spinning out there. Last night when driving home across the Nags Head causeway, I haven't seen the tide so low in a while. The shallow shoreline was WAY out there! Winds are to back around to the north and west later today and tomorrow. Could be some soundside flooding from that.
